Affordability

Ensuring Affordability:

We are committed to ensuring your Pay Weekly Store purchase is suitable for you. This means that as part of the application checks we undertake we will seek to ensure you are able to afford any credit facility we offer.  We may ask for additional information about your personal and financial circumstances in order to make the right decision. We will also run a credit search.

This means that even if you have had a credit facility from us in the past we will still need information each time you reapply to ensure the service is suitable and fits your circumstances. In some circumstances we may not be able to offer a credit facility at all.

If you have been declined for a credit facility recently, and/or your credit file does not match our lending criteria then you will be declined for credit. If you feel the service is something you still wish to proceed with in the future you may reapply again in 90 days time.

Pay Weekly Store offers household products on hire purchase to help spread the cost of essential items.  This form of credit may not be suitable for everyone and cheaper credit may be available elsewhere.

Important Inormation:

If you do choose to take out a credit agreement with Pay Weekly Store this will be shown at the credit bureaux.  Whilst making repayments on time may improve your credit rating, any missed payments will be reported to the credit bureaux and may have an adverse impact on your ability to get credit in the future.

Failure to make payment may also result in late payment charges, which will mean a higher total debt to repay, as well as the chance of legal action being taken to recover unpaid items or debt.

If you wish to cancel your agreement and return any items you may opt to do so at any time by notifiying us in wirting.  This is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory right to return the goods once half of all payments have been made.
